Every year leaves its own imprint, but this one feels especially meaningful for us at Honar. Our work has always begun with a simple intention - to protect what is precious and to share it with sincerity - and it is heartening to see how this intention continues to grow through the people and places we are connected to.
This year, The Johri stepped into a remarkable light of its own. The beautifully restored 19th-century haveli earned a Michelin Key (2025), found its place among the World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025, and was celebrated in the World’s 50 Best Discovery List. It was named India’s Best Boutique Hotel by the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2024 & 2025 and featured in Tatler Asia’s 100 Best Hotels 2025.
Its culinary heart - The Restaurant at The Johri - continued to tell its story with honesty and flavour, earning Condé Nast Traveller’s Top Restaurant Awards in 2023, 2024, and 2025, with a #16 position in 2025. Its dishes honour North Indian cuisine - its comfort, its colours, and its quiet insistence on tradition.
Alongside the enduring ten-year legacy of 28 Kothi, recently named one of India’s Best Hotels in the Readers’ Choice Awards 2025, these milestones usher us into a new chapter.
This season marks another important moment for us: The Sarvato has joined the Relais & Châteaux family. To be welcomed into a community that values respect for culture, the land, and the art of hospitality affirms the path we have chosen. It is a reminder that luxury can be gentle, thoughtful, and deeply rooted. Our exploration of Rajasthan’s culinary heritage grows ever more deliberate - shaped by its ingredients, techniques, and timeless flavours that deserve to be celebrated.
